In addition to the Czech Republic, Škoda cars are made in Ukraine, India, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kazakhstan. Cars are assembled here from parts and components exported from the Czech Republic. These countries will soon be joined by China and Russia – where production will start up in 2007. At the current time the most cars per year are produced in Solomonovo Ukraine and Aurangabad, India (12,599 cars in 2006).We prepare Škoda cars for foreign assembly plants in SKD, MKD and CKD assembly sets, which represent varying degrees of disassembly of the various components and assembly modules, which are sent to foreign plants in transport containers or rail units.
