Open-top car

The media, experts and the public awaited with anticipation what Škoda Auto would come up with for the prestigious IAA motor show in Frankfurt. The design team led by Thomas Ingenlath created a variation on the successful Yeti study – an open-top pick-up version called the Yeti II.
The Yeti’s variable roof system was developed together with the leading company Karmann. The combination of a hardtop (fixed element) and softtop (canvas roof) offers three options for an “open” ride. When travelling without the hardtop part, the driver and passengers see the sky above them, and if the back canvas part of the roof is taken out, the Yeti is transformed into a classic pick-up. You are guaranteed maximum pleasure from driving an open-top car if you choose to drive without both roof parts.
