Thomas Ingenlath, Škoda Auto’s chief designer, said of the Roomster concept: “The Roomster model shows what can be expected in the future from the Škoda brand. It is a pre-image of a traditional brand car that wants to offer its customers a high quality and advanced automobile for the most universal use. The Roomster has a whole number of new, original design and construction elements. They include, for example, the front mask with its characteristic chrome frame and the logo at the top in the middle, the massive door columns, and red-ringed end lights. Other significant elements are the two lengthwise sunroofs, which underline the impression of a generous, free and well-lit interior.”
