Since 2005, ŠKODA AUTO University (SAU) is involved in Programme Erasmus. In 2007 SAU get the Erasmus Extended University Charter, which provides the general framework for the European cooperation activities a higher education institution may carry out within the ERASMUS programme. The Charter sets out the fundamental principles and the minimum requirements with which the higher education institution must comply when implementing its ERASMUS activities.
It is a prerequisite for SAU to organise student mobility, student mobility for placement and teaching and other staff mobility, to carry out ERASMUS intensive language courses and intensive programmes, and to apply for multilateral projects, networks, accompanying measures and preparatory visits.
